Mark Lappe was born on December 6th, 1953. He was the 2nd born child to Rita and Alois Lappe. He was born in Iowa, but his parents moved him to Colorado when he was about 5. He graduated from Lincoln high school in 1971. He then became an iron worker at Coors Brewing co. He was laid off and went back to work in the brewery where he perfected the craft of finishing. When he was 21 he met Diane Agnew, who he would later marry and have 2 children with. Troy was born April 12, 1979, and Tia was born September 11, 1980. Mark and Diane later divorced but remained good friends until his passing. Mark never remarried. He worked at Coors Brewing co for 39 years, and planned on retiring within the next 2 years. He lived an exciting life, always ready and willing to take on the next adventure without hesitation. He really enjoyed telling jokes to make people laugh and enjoyed attention. He leaves behind a very loving family and huge group of friends. He will be truly missed, but we all know he is continuing the party just waiting for us to join him.
